Caring for future generations
We as a company are focusing a lot to make products that are more ECO friendly. We spend a lot of time on research on the materials we use, designing the products and educating our customers on what to do with the products when it’s not needed anymore. We are proud of where we are today, but we know that we have a long way to go until we are satisfied. We’re not perfect, but we are trying to take steps in the right direction. We believe that if more companies join our mission the transition to a more sustainable world is going faster.
But the real power is with you as a consumer, the sustainable choices you take every day and the companies you support. We urge you to join our mission for a sustainable planet.
All of our products are free from toxins like BPA, BPS, BPF, and DEHP. Herobility’s manufacturing facilities in China comply with Good Manufacturing Practice, human rights, as well as ISO9001 and BSCI.
Choosing the right materials
We spend a lot of time thinking about the materials we use in our products. Since we sell products meant for children, we have to put quality and safety first, and then do our best to reduce our environmental impact. All our materials have to be hygienic and safe, and they need to comply with international standards of safety.
All of Herobility’s products are free from BPA, BPS and other toxins.
What do we mean when we say “Eco”?
ECO is a abbreviation of Ecology, the study of interconnected life and the environments we inhabit. The meaning of a word like Eco can differ between languages and industries. We don’t mean to imply that our products marked with ECO are organic or biodegradable, nor that we use exclusively plant based materials in these products.
Instead, it means that when designing these products we are taking every step we can to reduce our climate footprint, compared to products made entirely from traditional plastics made from crude oil. We strive to instead use materials that will affect our ecosystem as little as possible, to the extent that the products are still safe and usable. We do this by reducing the use of traditional plastic and replacing it with, for example, bioplastics, glass, silicone, and steel. Of course, every material has pros and cons, but in order to comply with the exacting standards for baby products, we have chosen these ones.
