Al elegir un biberón, recomendamos seleccionar un tamaño que coincida con la cantidad que el bebé suele beber. Es importante también elegir el tamaño adecuado de la tetina que regula el flujo. Signos comunes de que tu bebé podría necesitar un flujo más rápido incluyen: el bebé se queda dormido durante la alimentación, succiona la tetina más fuerte y rápido que antes, se detiene y llora o bebe menos que antes. Si, por el contrario, el bebé se atraganta, podría ser porque el flujo es demasiado rápido. Recuerda que a veces puede tomar una semana acostumbrar a un bebé a un flujo más rápido.
¡ATENCIÓN! La norma europea para biberones recomienda cambiar la tetina cada dos meses y tirar de ella antes de cada uso para asegurar la higiene y seguridad. Cualquier signo mínimo de desgaste debe llevar a su reemplazo.

Advantages of the materials
Bioplastic
Our bioplastic is specifically called HDPE and is made from the starch of the sugarcane plant. As sugarcane grows, it absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, resulting in a much smaller carbon footprint than regular plastic.
Bioplastic can be recycled, however, the technology is not available everywhere. Contact your local recycling center if you are wondering where to put the bioplastic parts when you recycle them.
Glass
The great advantage of glass is that it is safe, durable, and easily recyclable, many times over. In addition, it is easy to clean and does not discolor. To recycle your Herobility glass products, simply place them in glass recycling.
Silicone
A good alternative to plastic that lasts longer and does not lose its properties over time. Unlike, for example, latex or natural rubber, very few people are allergic to silicone, which is considered safe enough for use in medical technology. Ask your recycling center how best to recycle silicone.
Steel
Stainless steel is a material that lasts a very long time, does not rust or corrode, and can be recycled an infinite number of times. Sort as metal scrap.

Much of our communication therefore focuses on explaining how to use your Herobility products in different ways. But also how to care for your products so that they last as long as possible, to reduce consumption at a global level.
NOTE! Some products have a recommended lifespan to meet international safety standards for baby products. For example: pacifiers and bottle nipples have a recommended lifespan of two months from first to last use. Other products are easier to pass on to your friends or save if you are expecting siblings.
