Herobility teat – loved by the fussiest babies

Dinapp Herobility – älskad av de mest kräsna bebisarna

Many who buy baby bottles may not pay too much attention to the design of the nipple. But it's more important than you might think. The main reason babies reject certain bottles is precisely because of the nipple. Herobility's nipple has a well-thought-out design and breast-like shape. In this article, we'll tell you about our unique nipple, how to clean it, how often to replace it, how to choose the right nipple size, and what infant colic is. If you'd rather jump straight to the product page, that's fine too > Herobility Nipple – see the range here.

The risk of infant colic decreases with the right nipple

It's not uncommon for young babies to suffer from colic, usually occurring within the first few months of life. Colic is often most intense when the baby is 1.5 to 2 months old. As a parent, it can be difficult to determine whether it's colic or not, as most babies cry, more or less, during the initial period. However, there are some characteristics of infant colic that you can look out for:

  • The baby cries inconsolably for several hours at a time, in several bouts throughout the day.
  • The baby may appear bothered by stomach pain, moaning and tensing their body.
  • The baby usually cries most later in the day (afternoon and evening).
  • The baby has difficulty pooping.

Infant colic usually resolves on its own, but if you are unsure, worried, or feel exhausted as a parent, you should always contact your local child health center for support and advice. Remember that your child's general condition is always the most important guide. If your child's condition worsens, they seem sluggish, or don't want to eat, you must seek emergency care!

What makes Herobility's nipple so unique

Our award-winning nipple has a double anti-colic system that significantly reduces the risk of infant colic. It also has an ergonomic, breast-like design, which contributes to a natural latch and thus an easier transition from breastfeeding to bottle-feeding.

With other nipples, many parents find that their babies swallow air, causing gas in their stomachs. Herobility's nipple has soft, breast-like mounds that fit snugly at the corners of the mouth, preventing the baby from swallowing air. Our nipple also has double air vents that prevent vacuum buildup in the bottle, which in turn contributes to an even flow. Our nipple has a high acceptance rate of over 97%* and is loved by even the pickiest babies. Parents worldwide testify that their babies accept our bottle on the first try.

Which nipple do I get when I order a baby bottle from you?

140 ml baby bottle includes size S nipple
240 ml baby bottle includes size M nipple
340 ml baby bottle includes size L nipple

Signs that you probably need to change nipple size

Does the baby seem bothered during feeding? Perhaps they have to exert themselves and suck hard to get enough food? Then you probably need to switch to a nipple with a faster flow. If, on the other hand, the baby coughs and chokes during feeding, the flow is probably too fast, and you need to switch to a nipple with a slower flow.

How long does the nipple last?

According to European standards, it is recommended to replace the nipple every two months. Inspect the nipple daily before use; at the slightest sign of wear, it should be replaced immediately. This is to ensure hygiene and safety.

How do I clean the nipple?

Our nipples are always sterilized during production, but we also recommend sterilizing them at home before first use. Fill a saucepan with water and add the nipple, boil for at least 5 minutes. Then remove the saucepan from the stove and let the nipple cool. The nipple can be washed by hand, and in the dishwasher on the top rack at a maximum of 55C°. We do not compromise on the material in our products. All nipples are made of high-quality medical silicone.
